What Tito learned from four thousand headlines

#agents #news

Clickbait has a shape. After a summer of feeding four thousand headlines through a local model, the shape is obvious: a question that the article doesn't answer, a number without a denominator, and a verb doing the work of an adjective.

Tito's job is to undo that. Every story becomes one factual line — who, what, how much, what happened — and one more line on why it matters. Nothing else.

The dedup problem

Two outlets, one event. Three outlets, one press release. The first version of Tito sent the same story four times in an afternoon. The fix was boring: cluster on shared proper nouns before the model ever sees the digest.
